Following this, a likely diagnosis will be given.
Treatment can usually be started immediately. The patient is always given options and fully engaged in treatment options. An initial consultation lasts up to 30 minutes.
Joint and soft-tissue injections consisting of corticosteroid and local anaesthetic facilitate better movement and reduce pain. Frequently these aid quicker recovery and can improve movement.

Help My Pain offer Ostenil injections. These are injections for the treatment and symptoms of osteoarthritis. It can be used in the knee, or in any of the other joints in the body that are classified as ‘synovial’.

Quick Referrals for diagnostic imaging can be arranged when required, these include MRI and expert ultrasound scanning.
Private referral to an orthopaedic surgeon can also be arranged if a surgical referral required.
If required, follow up sessions are offered in order to monitor progress. This ensures the problem is improving and your goals are being met. Follow up sessions are varied, but in principle they are shorter sessions lasting 15 minutes.
Help My Pain is fully qualified to treat pain with acupuncture. They have full AACP certification and can offer this treatment if required.
