Help My Pain is a pioneering private clinic run by Ryan Wells-West, (BSc, MSCP, HCPC PH54233)

Ryan has 20 years of orthopaedic / musculoskeletal experience and is an Advanced Orthopaedic Practitioner also working for the NHS.
He is experienced in delivering quality treatment and advice and has provided spinal injections for the musculoskeletal team across West Dorset for many years. Over this time he has performed thousands of spinal and peripheral joint injection procedures and continues to do so.  He is experienced in unguided, ultrasound guided and x-ray guided procedures.

EXPERIENCE

Ryan initially qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist (Southampton) in 1998. He went on to study Orthopaedic Medicine in Sheffield and has Masters level Diplomas in Injection Therapy, (Sheffield) and Advanced Spinal Injections, (London).   He is a qualified Independent Prescriber, (London, LSBU) and is a member of the Health & Care Professions Council.

Ryan has attended the World Congress on Pain and was trained in Ultrasound for Pain Medicine (spinal) in Milan, Italy. He is also an adviser for the national charity, Arthritis Research UK.

Ryan is responsible for training new members of staff in Extended Scope Practice along with mentoring injection therapy, for the NHS.
He also appreciates the close links he has with local consultants and colleagues.
